Hey, It the mellybug reporting for laughter!
Hey guys,
It's the Mellster reporting for laughter. High plaines mysteries are pretty good, we made the book while we were on vacation at the resivore together. I really enjoyed making the book with my two best friends. Now that I know how to work this thing and post things on the blog everything's good. I'm kinda a computer freak^-^ !
Anyway, High Plaines mysteries is very funny. It is about three girls who love to adventure. I based Katrina after myself. She's klutzy and a dork, like myself. Anyway, they are very funny all together I think. I love to write books, I want to become a writter when I grow up and one of the books I would like to publish when I'm older is this book^-^. We planned on making Summers, Josephina and Katrina have their own book series. Mine I hope I can make in manga comics^-^.
Alright, so I wanted to also tell the people who read this that I will come in and write little messages along with my best friends. I hope that you will enjoy the books and what not that we post on here, sincerlly, Mellybug

Chapter 6 Oh Brett! By Mellybug
Kirsten, Summers and Joesaphina made the plan for Kirsten to go with Brett on a picnic and then get some information about Brett's jerky brother.
Kirsten got on her makeup and spayed some perfum on herself and went out the door.
Brett and Kirsten sat down on the picnic blanket.
"So...you have family?" Kirsten asked as she bit down into a sandwich Brett made.
"Yeah, I have a sister and a..." Brett didn't finish the sentence.
"And?" Kirsten asked.
"A brother." he said in a low voice.
"I have a sister." Kirsten said.
"Yeah, it's better just to have a sister and not a jerky brother," Kirsten nodded her head, "He tried to kill me, he tried to hit me with the end of a gun. The old
brother I used to know changed. He began to hear voices in his head or go crazy and stab his hand." Brett shook his head.
"Whoa." Kirsten said in shock. "I didn't know you would trust me this much to tell me such I secret."
Brett got red in the face and said in a soft gentle voice, "Well... I like you." Brett got close and kissed her on the cheek.

Chapter 3 - Mystery of the Old Man
Rose asked many questions and one of them was "Why is katerina sick?" Because, I answered, her boyfriend is almost dead. "Oh" she said. "Why is he faint?" she asked. He probably was drugged. What's that? she asked. It's where somebody will take sleeping drugs and make the drug into a fine powder, then put the powder into a handkerchief. Then put it up to a person's nose. "Oh" she said. When we reached the hotel, Josephine was making dinner. Katerina was sleeping soundly. Rose decided to go change her clothes. "Oh, Summers, tell me what happened. You were gone a while." Said Josephine. O, nothing really, except that the police had WONDERFUL news about the old man. First of all, his name is Silas. Next, he is a criminal. Oh, no, he might be dangerous. gasped Josephine. Then he lives California, on Walnut Ave. in Sterling. That is great news, said Katerina, who had woken up a little while ago. DINNER'S READY! called Josephine. That night, Summers could not sleep thinking about what had happened a few weeks ago. Oh dear, we have had a few crazy weeks, she thought. The next morning, Rose wasn't in her bed! Oh,no, said Katerina
When we got up that morning we went on a boat to Sterling. When we reached it we found the hospital easy. We reached the room brett was in. Katerina was talking with him right away. She said “How are you doing my love? I have been so werid about you. I hope you will keep getting better. What happened that you were almost killed?” She asked him so many qustions that you would almost die. After we were done at the hospital we went back to our hotel and look up in the phone book the old mans number. We finally found it and called it. He answered and we asked him to meet us at the cafe for luch. He agreed and we went to meet him.
He was a strange man. His name was Silas. He was a very old man about 85. He said “ I have been a farmer since I was a boy. I have heard about what happened to brett and I am very sorry I did it oh! I mean what happened to him.”
We had a good lunch. When we go back to the hotel room we all sat in the hotel room thinking about what he said. Rose did not like the feeling when she saw the old man. She knew that somthing was not right. Rose was a person who could somwhat and sometimes read peoples mind. She knew in her heart of hearts that he was lying about everything he had said and did. Except for when he said that he was the one who hurt brett.
We went that afternoon to the old shack and when we looked in the window we saw a picture of someone, that look like brett and on the photo it said “ This one is the one next to go. Hurry up lock nost monster your running out of time.” katerina realised that the man in the photo was bretts brother and started to become faint again.
We ran back quickly to the town and went to the sheriff office to ask him for help. He said that he would try,but he has never heard such thing. He thought that we were playing a game because we were kind of still kids.

Mystery of the Lake - Chapter 2
When we woke up the next morning we decided to go to the cafe and have breakfast. When we reached the cafe we were the only ones that were there. Katerina fell in love with the waiter at once. He was very handsome. He had blue eyes and brownish, blond hair. His name was brett. He was very nice and we asked him to help us get some gas because we didn’t see any gas station around here. He said that when he was going to get off work. He was going to a bigger town called Sterling. He said that he would get some gas for us.
We decided to go on a picnic while he was gone and explore. So we went to find the little girl Rose to come with us and show us a good picnic spot, so we looked for her and finally we found her. Where we found her last night on the beach. We asked her ”We are going to have a picnic. Where is a good place to have one and explore?” She answered “There is a nice cove were things wash up and a great view. I will be glad to show you it if you let me have some food.” We all agreed and took off to Coral Cove. She was right it was a great view and there was a lot of stuff on the shore. Rose wanted Josphine and Summers to come with her to a place she said that we might like. While we went to there. Where rose was standing we herd Katerina scream we hurried to where she was. She pointed in the water and there in a little jet boat was the man who was the waiter at the cafe. He was not breathing ,but his heart was barley thumping. So we all the sudden ran to get help. Katerina and rose stayed behind. As Summers and Josphine were running a boy came all the sudden out from behind a tree screaming ” I saw it I saw it.” Before we could stop him and ask what he saw, he was gone so fast it was like he was a ghost that disapered. When we reach the town we saw a a young man that looked like Bretts brother. We asked him for help. He said that he would help us. He asked his friend to get a boat ready to take him to the Sterling hospital. When we reached where we left Katerina and rose he was still not breathing ,but his heart was still faint. The young man grabed him and caried him to the boat.. There the boat went to the hospital. Katrina didn’t want to explore anymore. So we took her back to the hotel room and let her rest for awhile. Then Josphine and Summers decided to go to the public library and find out more about this place. Rose wanted to stay behind with Katerina to make sure she was okay. So we went to the library and we fond a book about the lock nest monsters. Josphine thought to her self “I’ve herd about this before I’ve never really believed it.” Then she saw photos of it. In one of the photos was a picture of a old man standing next to it basically. It was weird. Summers saw the photo and said” I haven't seen that man around and look when the photo was taken it was taken today and that old man looks like he lives in the old shack the way he is dressed.
Summers decided to go ask the police if they knew anything about this old man. Rose insisted that she go with. when they got there, they asked and the police said that they had a book about where criminals live. The Mystery of the Lake - Chapter 1
We were all sitting in the car like a big family. This was our first time in months that we had seen each other. Katerina was driving and Summers was in the passenger seat and Josephine was in the back. Katerina is a person who was a cluts ,but was kind hearted and was friends with everybody. She is also a funny person with her clumsiness. Summers is the one who always found things out and was the person who was always wanting to explore and do things. She loves to ride horses and solve mystorys. She is fluent in hebrew. Summers favorite horse is mustang. Josephine is a person who always had a bag and wanted to keep treasures and things for her collection. She was the one who helped Katerina with her clumsiness. Josphine also knows Portuguese. Josphine love cats and always brings her cat on every trip. Her cat’s name is gilligan and it is a black cat. gilligan is nice and never bites and loves to solve mystorys too.
While we were driving all the sudden the car STOPED! at first it was frightening . Then we looked at the gas tank and saw that it was empty. We got out of the car and sighed. Then Summers said “look! over there.” We looked and we could see a house far off in the distance. We decided to go there because we needed gas and we were in the mood for an adventure.
So we got our stuff and Josephine grabbed her cat. We took off toward the house. When we reached the house it wasn’t a house it was a old shack the had bullets holes in the windows and on the roof there were spears and arrows. We saw a lake that was close by the old shack we decided to leave and walk around the lake and see if we find a place to stay because it was getting dark out , it was getting cold too and the sun was almost setting .
While we were walking along the beach a little girl from out of nowhere came out and said ”I am on my way into town. You look lost let me help you to the town is called Caperu. My name is Rose. What are your names?”. Josphine said ”This is Katerina and Summers. I am Josphine. We would love it if you would show us the way to the town so we can find a place to sleep, eat and get some gas for our car.” So Rose said “Lets go, we are burning daylight.” So we followed her to the town called caperu.
When we reached the hotel we thanked Rose and got a room. We were glad to have some food. We were very hungry and very curious about the old shack.
